Rookie Ball players play a modified form of Baseball where A Zooka machine is used instead of a pitcher. There are no Strikes or balls and after four unsuccessful pitches, the batter can hit the ball off the Tee. A modified ball is used.
The competition is played at our home ground Arkinstall Park on Saturday mornings starting at 8.15am for one hour 15 mins. After Christmas, live pitching can be introduced if players are ready.
The cost to play Rookie Ball is $350 paid in two instalments, $130 on Registration with the Association, when shirts and caps are distributed, and a further $220 (less active kids voucher) before the 7th October (the start of season and first game).
Bats & Helmets are supplied by the Association. You need to purchase a glove.
