Little League competitions are conducted by the Gold Coast Baseball Association (GCBA). Games are played in a home and away format. This is the first level of Baseball where children are separated into two groups based on their skills level, Little League Majors, and Little League Minors.
The competitions are competitive, and scores are recorded, and finals played, however, the emphasis is still on skill development and equal participation.
Although players are rotated through a variety of positions throughout the season, this age group sees children starting to focus on more specific roles within the team.
Little League ages are 9 – 11.
Little League minors start at 9.30am and played for one hour 30 mins, and Little League Majors 11.30am for one hour 45 mins.
The cost to play Little League is $350 paid in two instalments, $130 on Registration with the Association and a further $220 (less active kids voucher) before the 7th October (the start of season and first game).
Bats & Helmets are supplied by the Association. You need to purchase a glove and Uniform.
