The Northern Rivers GIANTS Pathways Program was established in 2021 to open opportunities for young players from Ballina to Coolangatta to play Baseball and develop with a view to playing at elite level.
Development commences at T-Ball level with 4 – 7 year-olds, learning Basic skills and developing those skills as they advance in the age groups.
Once they reach live-ball Baseball, selected players are introduced to more advanced development through selection in the Giants Pathways Program Especially Pitching, Catching & Batting.
While NRBA are developing local teams such as the Tigers, Astros, Sharks, and Hawks, more advanced players are selected to play in the Giants teams participating in the Gold Coast Summer competitions and Far North Coast Winter competitions.
From there, NRBA players may try-out for selection in the Gold Coast or Far North Coast Representative teams, and selection in State teams.
